Public City Jazz is a fictional jazz festival for the municipality of Rotterdam. The project required finding a balance between the municipality's house style and the free spirit of a jazz festival. The result is a blend of both worlds.
Identity from the rhythm
The visual style was built by combining text elements with Rotterdam's green colour and the structured chaos of jazz. The background is filled with random shapes that together form a cohesive whole.
